This dish is a weeknight hero that you can whip up in no time!
Ingredients
1 cup uncooked rice.
2 cups broccoli florets.
1 can (15 oz) of chicken broth.
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
1/2 cup milk.
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
1/2 teaspoon onion powder.
Salt and pepper to taste.
1 tablespoon olive oil.
How to Make It
In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
Add the rice and toast it for 2 minutes.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil.
Add the broccoli, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir in the milk and half of the cheese.
Top with the remaining cheese and cover until melted.
Serve
Serve it warm, and enjoy digging in straight from the pan!
