Okay, so picture this: it’s a Wednesday night, and you’re just *so* over cooking. You want comfort food, but who has the energy? I decided to whip up something that required minimal effort but still tasted like a hug. Spoiler: I almost messed it up by forgetting to add the cheese until the very end! But let me tell you, that last-minute sprinkle made all the difference.
Ingredients
8 oz. pasta (your choice)
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup water
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh basil for garnish (optional)
How to Make It
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large oven-safe pan, combine the pasta, marinara sauce, water, and Italian seasoning.
Stir everything together and season with salt and pepper.
Cover the pan with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Remove the foil and stir in the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
Return to the oven and bake uncovered for another 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
Serve
Garnish with fresh basil if you want, and dig in straight from the pan!
