After a long day, this creamy garlic pasta is the perfect comfort food.

Ingredients

8 ounces of pasta (your choice)

2 tablespoons of olive oil

4 cloves of garlic, minced

1 cup of heavy cream

1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

How to Make It

Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water.

In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic.

Cook the garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Once the pasta is done, reserve a cup of pasta water and drain the rest.

Add the cooked pasta to the pan with garlic, then pour in the heavy cream.

Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until creamy.

If it’s too thick, add a bit of reserved pasta water until you reach desired consistency.

Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley if using.

Serve
