Kremowy One- Pan Pomidor Basil Pasta

You know those nights when you just want something comforting and easy to whip up? Yeah, I had one of those recently. I was craving pasta but had zero energy to do anything fancy. So, I grabbed a few pantry staples, and this creamy one-pan tomato basil pasta was born!

I almost messed it up, though. I got distracted scrolling through my phone and forgot to add the garlic until the very end. Spoiler alert: it still turned out amazing! The creamy sauce, fresh basil, and a sprinkle of cheese made it all worth it.

Ingredients

8 ounces pasta of your choice.

1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes.

1 cup chicken or vegetable broth.

1/2 cup heavy cream.

2 cloves garlic, minced.

1 teaspoon dried basil.

Salt and pepper to taste.

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese.

Fresh basil for garnish.

How to Make It

In a large pan, combine the pasta, diced tomatoes, broth, cream, garlic, and dried basil.

Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.

Cook until the pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally, for about 10-12 minutes.

Add salt and pepper to taste, then stir in the Parmesan cheese until creamy.

Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Serve

This pasta is best enjoyed straight from the pan, with a sprinkle of extra cheese on top!
