How to Make It
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix the sliced apples with half of the cinnamon and a sprinkle of brown sugar.
In another bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, remaining cinnamon, and salt.
Stir in the melted butter until everything is well coated.
Layer the apple mixture in a baking dish and spread the oat topping evenly over it.
Bake for about 30-35 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
Serve
Serve warm, ideally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The juices from the apples pool at the bottom, making every spoonful a delight!
