After a long day, I craved something creamy and flavorful but dreaded the thought of a sink full of dishes.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
How to Make It
Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Add chicken to the pan and cook until browned on both sides.
Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well.
Add Parmesan cheese and Italian herbs, stir until smooth.
Return chicken to the pan, simmer until cooked through.
Serve
Serve hot with a side of steamed vegetables or over pasta.
