Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 onion, chopped
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil for cooking
How to Make It
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
Season with oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the sliced potatoes to the skillet.
Cover and cook for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once potatoes are tender, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
Cover again and cook until cheese melts.
Serve
Spoon onto plates and enjoy warm with your favorite side salad or some crusty bread.
